I have had the pleasure of being able to have Brandon Boudreau work for me on multiple occasions. He has been a hard worker, knowledgeable, and systematic in his attention to detail. He was our welder for the nose cone and nose cone extension for our waterwheel during our overhaul on the Upper Connecticut. He followed all procedures and completed all required competencies to prove he was the qualified welder we needed for this job. With his welding expertise and patience, he passed all inspections on the first and only needed inspection of his work. We have had no issues resulting from his welding work or any other welding he has done for me in the past. I write this letter to convey the positive experience I have had with Fairbanks Mill. I own and manage two hydroelectric plants in Vermont, and I am currently developing a third. I first contacted Mr. Boudreau in 2018, and I was impressed with his extensive background in hydroelectric plant maintenance. I was also encouraged by the breadth of services, which not only seemed to over most of our needs, but didn’t overreach, and was compartmentalized properly with experienced leaders for varying tasks. I have known Brandon for 4 years. He was the mechanical lead on a recent overhaul for me in my Plant where I am the Outage Manager. In my position, I am in charge of all outages on 43 hydro generators at 13 stations. I am writing to recommend that you consider Brandon. In all my years of experience, some people stand out for their great qualities and Brandon is one of those people. He is well known for his work ethic, positive attitude, teamwork mentality, leadership, and diligence. He is well respected throughout the organization for getting things done. Throughout the time I’ve known him, he has shown me time and again that he is a positive, motivated leader with amazing potential. During the recent overhaul he played an important role as the mechanical lead. Brandon was picked by the Managers to fill this role at another station because of his leadership ability and teamwork mentality. Brandon was seen as an outsider but pull the crew together to get the job done. The overhaul required over 10,000 man hours of labor to complete, and it was done without a single safety incident, which I attribute this to Brandon safe work ethic and leadership.
